About Jenn

Becoming a mother changes everything. The postpartum experience can feel beautiful, confusing, and exhausting all at once. The loss of autonomy, hunger for support, and the guilt for needing it can quietly build into anxiety, depression, and emotional fatigue if left unaddressed. Many of us learn from an early age that suppressing emotion is the best way to manage life when things get complicated. While numbing can bring temporary relief, it often leads to further emptiness down the line. I offer space to process and integrate these experiences through top-down methods, such as talk therapy and emotional processing, combined with bottom-up practices like somatic, nervous system regulation, and energy-based healing to bridge insight with embodiment.

In a strange way, emotional pain can be a catalyst for transformation. For new mothers, meeting heavy emotions with presence rather than resistance can actually help turn exhaustion into steadiness, anxiety into clarity, and overwhelm into a sense of containment. Even in the messiness, grief, and unpredictability of postpartum life, learning to work with emotions - energetically and cognitively - can help you feel grounded and more connected to yourself and your baby.

I create a safe, nurturing space where all parts of you are welcome: the dread, the grief, the resilience, the questions, and the unknown. My goal is to be an emotional anchor, helping you access your inner strength and rediscover your zest for life. Whether you’re seeking tools to get the day, trying to make sense of what’s happening, or looking for ways to connect more deeply with yourself, I’m here to walk with you through the weeds with care and curiosity.

My Journey

Currently a Psychologist Candidate. I began my career as a Behavioral Health Counselor at the Eating Recovery Center, supporting teens and adults in residential treatment as they dealt with the complex relationship between food, body image, and emotional regulation; challenges that can resurface again during the perinatal period. This work instilled in me a profound respect for the mind-body connection and the courage required for healing. I later returned to graduate school, earning my doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. There, I supported children with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges through my work in schools and at the Attention, Behavior, and Learning Clinic in Boulder.

In addition to my clinical and school-based work, I am a certified Reiki practitioner. I use this somatic energy-healing modality to support the body’s natural healing abilities and foster a deeper connection between mind, spirit, and body. A passion project turned side business, I create online courses and wellness resources that center on emotional awareness, nervous system support, and self-compassion. These experiences continue to inform the holistic, integrative approach I bring to my practice today.

Outside of work, I am a…

Mother. Writer. Mountain frolicker. Inspired by books and creativity in all forms. I feel most joyful running on trails. I’m endlessly curious about astrology and life’s mysteries. My soul is most alive listening to music, dancing in the kitchen with my baby.
